| Meadow
Ridge is located in the Georgetown section of Redding in
central Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Our 136-acre site of rolling hills and meadows has
dramatic vistas from the Connecticut hills to the north and west to
Long Island Sound to the south. All of the man-made structures
occupy less than one quarter of our site and are laid out in an
efficient geometric plan. The remaining acreage will be
preserved in its natural state forever.
Sightings of the numerous species of birds and other wildlife are common. There are number of benches in the woods and meadows where one may sit quietly and observe wildlife. Picnics in the gazebo at the woodland pond are very popular - especially when we pack your picnic hamper. The pond is home to native bass and perch. Find a likely spot, try your luck, then share your stories with friends in the pub. We are equidistant from New York and New Haven and just a short ride from Interstate 84, Interstate 684, Interstate 95, and the Merritt Parkway. We can be accessed by train on the Metro-North New Haven line via stations at Westport or Norwalk on the main line or Branchville on the Danbury line. |
